Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 is set to premiere on September 30, 2026, with an early streaming debut on ABEMA. The show will also air on Tokyo MX and ABC TV on October 7. HIDIVE will stream the anime as it airs in Japan and will screen the North American premiere at Anime NYC. The season will feature a new key visual and theme songs, with FZMZ performing the opening theme "Dream of Butterfly" and Hanabie. performing the ending theme "Baribari Buddy."
The anime is based on the light novel series of the same name by Yuu Tanaka and LLO, which was adapted into a manga by Tomowo Maruyama. The first season premiered in October 2022, and episodes debuted a week early on ABEMA. HIDIVE streamed the anime as it aired and also streamed an English dub.
The series stars Ai Kakuma as Fran, Shinichiro Miki as Master, and Yuma Uchida as Jean du Vix. Shinji Ishihira returns to direct the anime at C2C, with Takahiro Nagano writing and supervising the scripts. Atsuko Saito designs the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi composes the music.
